Starting her career in the music business in London working with Pink Floyd, Sophie then moved into advertising working in TV at DMB&B and then as a producer at Lowe Howard-Spink. During this time she worked on Global brands such as Proctor and Gamble, Pedigree Petfoods, Heineken, and Bells Whiskey.

Sophie made her name in the advertising industry working for five years at HHCL & Partners, delivering groundbreaking and multiple award winning work for clients such as Orange and Apple Tango, Ronseal and the Automobile Association. Sophie then set up the production side of HHCL Brasserie, a project based advertising agency.

In 1998, Sophie moved to Australia to work at George Patterson Bates. Working in Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore, she worked on brands such as National Australia Bank and Nokia.

Prior to joining Team Saatchi, Hooper was managing director of Vermillion Films, also part of the Saatchi & Saatchi group of companies.  She led pan-European business for Johnson & Johnson, Comet and Sony and project managed creative assignments for Ronseal and Domino’s Pizza.

Since her appointment as managing director of Team Saatchi in April 2005, Sophie has won, on average, two projects or retained accounts from new clients every month increasing Team Saatchi’s billings by £15 million.  Substantial organic growth came when the Imodium account was increased from five to fifteen markets and Sophie was also essential in engineering the move of The Laughing Cow Cheese and Olay UK into Team Saatchi.
